Welcome to the Virtual Animation Summer Camp!

This page will be your portal to the camp!

Thanks for being a part of our 2024 camp

Live Classes: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Work Sessions: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Times of all classes + work sessions: 1 PM -4:30 PM EST
If you can’t make these sessions, the recorded video lessons will be available below 30 minutes after the end of the session.

Submitting homework:
Google Drive location to submit files for feedback: LINK
Try to bring your artwork into one image file to submit for review, you can see how I do this here.
Please do not submit HEIC files — convert to JPEG prior to uploading.

Keep the file large so that your individual artwork files don’t lose resolution. I usually use an 11,000 pixel width file. If this is too technical, don’t worry! Just submit your individual artworks.

If you’re unable to attend a class:
As mentioned above, you may still view the recorded video lecture that will be available below. Please continue to complete the assigned homework (and the warm-up if you wish, but you won’t be submitting this for feedback) and submit it to the appropriate week and day on the Google Drive for feedback prior to the next Work Session.

How to use the Discord

If you have any questions outside of the assigned classes or work sessions, please submit them in the #virtual-animation-camp Discord channel:

Feel free to tag me #garth to grab my attention.

Otherwise, you can chat with your classmates in that channel freely!
